VioGolf is built for mobile from the ground up. Score entry, leaderboards, and pairings all work on any modern phone browser — no app install required, no separate "mobile site," just the same VioGolf that's open on the director's laptop in the clubhouse.
Touch-sized inputs
Score entry uses large tap targets and number-pad keyboards so a 4 goes in with one tap, not a precision click.
Readable on the course
High contrast, big fonts, and clear hierarchy — designed to be readable in bright sun on a small screen.
Fast on slow connections
Score updates are small payloads. Leaderboards refresh without reloading the whole page.

Native iOS scorer — next up
A dedicated native iOS scorer app is the next big piece of the mobile story. The web works well in most conditions, but native unlocks a few things we want for tournament directors and scorers specifically:
- Offline scoring. Walk onto a corner of the course with no signal, post a 9-hole card from memory, sync the moment the phone connects again.
- Push notifications. Get told when a score posts, a player drops a card, or a round ends — without needing the app open.
- Lock-screen widgets. Glance at the leaderboard without unlocking the phone.
We'll ship Android after iOS — same featureset, different release window driven by how the iOS build lands.
